UFC WELTERWEIGHT
I was always very active in sport, first playing Aussie rules football.To keep fit during the footy offseason I began training mixed martial arts out of my backyard.I had my first amateur MMA fight, winning by head kick KO.
My biggest motivation when I was younger to keep pursuing a UFC career was that people told me it was impossible. Now that I have children of my own, my motivation is to provide a great life for my kids and give them opportunities that I never had.
I first met the VEX team through my manager, we had a meeting, initially what drew me to VEX was their vision to grow and takeover the MMA scene in Australia, I would love to be apart of that from day one.
As a boxer at heart, I can’t go past the VEX gloves, in particular the 12oz for pad sessions. They hug the hands, give protection and crack loud when they make connection!
