Born in Melbourne Australia, i am a 28YO Mixed Martial Artist who started training at 16 years old. Originally hailing from Dominance MMA in Melbourne, I have now relocated to Ignite MMA in Caloundra where I represent both gyms. Im a purple belt in BJJ and have been boxing for a long time. My motivation for fighting is my passion for competition. Fighting is the purest form of competition as it is literally man vs man with very limited external factors.
was diagnosed with an autoimmune disease called ulcerative colitis in 2019.
This put me out for 3 years and I was told I may not compete at a high level again. My goal is to inspire young/fellow athletes who have a similar chronic condition to pursue their dreams despite their illness. When I was first diagnosed, I was unable to find many successful stories of athletes battling this condition. I would like to inspire someone else to continue when, everything seems impossible. This is a huge motivation for me as it allows me to fight for something bigger than myself.
